A coal boat at Bangor. See 514780. Another frequent caller, with cargoes of coal for a local merchant, was the Saint Brandan owned by Gardners of Glasgow. At 63 metres she is bigger than any vessel using the harbour today. She was unusual in that, as well as taking conventional cargoes in her hold, she could load a deck cargo via the ramp on her bow.
